Overage Fees
« on: January 17, 2012, 09:19:49 PM »
There has been recently, and in the past,  questions about fees we charge for extra bandwidth, disk space, and password recovery.
Let's explain the reason for these fees.
First, there is my cost for the extras, plus a very small profit. But most of the cost is meant to discourage users from having to use these extras in the first place. You are free to choose any package you want and, we also state right on the front page, that we can build you a custom package if needed. If you did not calculate your anticipated usage correctly, then you can move up to another package.
Second. The fee is also meant to be used as a one time fee. Time you may need to figure out what your needs are if your site is growing, or you expect extra traffic because of a sale, or seasonal differences.
You can ask any of my long standing customers, that we will always work with you to figure out the best package to suit your needs. So please, plan ahead if you continually go over your limit, or your site is on a consistant growth scale.
Third. It is your responsability to save your passwords and information. Save it to a file, and I suggest you also print it, and put it in a safe place that you can easily retrieve. It is also mandatory to inform us if you change any user names, and passwords to access your account. We can't help you if we can't get in. If needed, we will change these ourselves to gain access, leaving you with no way in. This is not negotiable. If any of you have already done so, please send me a PM or email me personally.
We do our best to work with you and make this a pleasant experience, something you will not get with many hosts with automated systems and overseas, non-understandable support. Our goal is to make you happy, but you have to work with us.
Thank You for you time and patience. If you have any questions, please leave a reply. You cannot reply by email, your question will never get posted. You must log into the site to post a question.
Thanks,
Bluto's Hosting Support Team &
Steve Fox, Owner.
